Safety City Success

This June, incoming kindergartners had the opportunity to participate in Safety City! Students learned about many different topics, including proper handwashing, electrical, burn, bike and gun safety, fitness and nutrition, stranger danger, pet and water safety, pedestrian safety, bus safety, as well as the importance of fire trucks and ambulances! 

This event wouldn’t be possible without the collaboration of our community partners, the Stark County Sheriff’s Office, and Plain Township Fire and Rescue. We would also like to thank the Stark County Health Department, Akron Children's Hospital Burn Center, Four Paws Animal Hospital, Goldfish Swim, Hilscher Clarke Electrical Company, Stark Parks, Community One Bank, Plain Township Trustees, Elementary PTOs and our wonderful student volunteers!
